Fauv-ish Feline

Acrylic on Canvas

This painting was completed primarily using palette knives and saturated hues to create depth and interest.

The inspiration was the side profile view of a cat's eye when focused on prey, which is referenced in the feather-like textured background, accented with gold.

Little Eddy

Acrylic on Canvas

The name Little Eddy is a play on words naming both the duckling pictured and the swirls of cool, clear water carrying him downstream.
